Overlay stack restores focus
React chapter 132 · TV / search and player overlays · source: Spatial carousel (78) · FocusScope (49)
The problem
Search is a full-screen overlay. Closing it always lands on the first poster. After a search, the user has to walk the catalog again. Back must pop a stack, not reset the grid.
The pattern that fixes it
Push { screen, row, col } when opening search. Back pops and restores that cell. The overlay is another screen on the same remote model — not a new page that forgets where you were.
