createSafeContext
React chapter 50 · Mantine createSafeContext · source: mantinedev/mantine/packages/@mantine/core/src/core/utils/create-safe-context
The problem
useContext(TabsContext) returns undefined outside the provider. You get "Cannot read property active of undefined" three files away from the real bug: someone rendered Tabs.Panel without Tabs.
The pattern that fixes it
The hook throws immediately: "useTabs() was called outside <Tabs>. Wrap the tree." Mantine createSafeContext (and Radix createContextScope) fail at the call site, not at a nested property.
